Softer Warranty Policy

Thank you for buying a SOFTER product. As well as being soft, we believe they’re built to last, and we want to give you some re-assurance that you’ve purchased a quality product. We therefore offer a guarantee that each pair is free from manufacturing defects for a full 1 year from the date of purchase.

WARRANTY DEFINITION

SOFTER provides this warranty to buyers who purchased a SOFTER product from SOFTER or an authorized retailer.

SOFTER products are guaranteed against all manufacturing or material defects for the period of 1 year.

SOFTER products are compliant with their description and specifications, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the products you purchase are compatible for the intended use.

NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY:

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damages due to transportation;
  • Damages due to improper storage;
  • Damages due to improper use of the products and poor maintenance;
  • Damages due to non-observance of the instructions or restrictions for use (if applicable) of the products as defined in the products manual (if enclosed in the packaging);
  • Damages due to the products normal wear and tear;
  • Damages due to non-observance of the instructions for maintenance as defined in the products owner manual;
  • Damages due to modification of the products;
  • Damages due to any impact caused by sharp items, due to torsion, compression, a fall, an abnormal impact or other actions that cannot be under Softer’s reasonable control.

The present warranty is not enforceable if:

  • The product has been modified or repaired by anyone or any entity;
  • The claimant is not able to provide proof of purchase.

WARRANTY ENFORCEMENT

In case of defect, SOFTER agrees to accept the claim, replace or repair the product at no charge for the end-user and return it. This shall be determined in the sole discretion of SOFTER.

SOFTER agrees that all repair or replacement of the product will occur within a reasonable period and without any major inconvenience for the consumer.

CLAIM PROCESS

Contact the retailer you made the purchase from to start the process, or send us a message through our Contacts Page to submit a claim, or alternatively send an e-mail to admin@softer.co.za with the details of the problem and your proof of purchase for the product, including date of purchase.

Please remember to supply all necessary information such as style name or number, size, date and place of purchase, and to assist further maybe a photo of the defect. If we cannot determine from the photo whether it is an obvious factory fault, then we will ask you to return the shoe for closer inspection.

We’ll be in touch with you within 2 – 5 days to resolve your issue.
