Our Giving Mindset
When we started the business we always had the mindset to uplift as many people as we could, with our focus on ensuring as many young children attend school.
This was even reflected in our original tagline which read “Comfort for your Soul”. Although we subsequently changed it to “comfort for your Sole”, we still fundamentally that a business without Soul is no business at all. We also believe that education, and preferably good education, is the primary foundation for being able to uplift yourself.
Some kids don’t attend school because they don’t have school shoes and the associated social complexities, which is extremely sad. Where possible we contribute to those charities and businesses who support schools and distribute school shoes to the most poor.

There are so many organizations who do amazing work, but we have initially decided to work with Cotlands, the Mark Fish Foundation and more recently the Kolisi Foundation.

Even though we don’t have the muscle of a big corporate business we believe that it’s better to do something than nothing, the heart being more important than the magnitude, and we believe our contributions will have a positive effect on the recipients, and ultimately play a small role in contributing to the upliftment of our people and our country.
